Birthright Annual Bottles for Babies Fundraiser!!
Throughout the month of October we Celebrate “Respect Life.” Birthright of Delaware hosts its Annual Bottles for Babies Fundraiser. The weekends in October, baby bottles can be picked up after all the Masses. We ask you to please take one or two bottles home and/or give one to a loved one to use. Please read the insert fill it out as neatly as possible then fill the bottle with loose change, cash or a check! Return them at the end of this month or sooner. The Annual Footprints Mass

The Diocesan Office for Marriage and Family Life sponsors an annual Mass of remembrance and healing for Pregnancy and Infant Loss called the Annual Footprints Mass. This year, we are blessed to have Bishop Koenig as our celebrant.

Throughout the United States, October 15th has been designated as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. It is a day when grieving parents come together and are surrounded by family and friends’ loving support to remember their little one. It is a time when our parish communities can pray for the families and the children lost.
A special invitation is extended to parents, grandparents and siblings who grieve the death of children because of miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, or early infant death. These losses may be recent or extend over many years.

Igniting Hope 5K

Registration is now open and Sponsorship Opportunities are available for the Igniting Hope 5K! This fantastic family event is back this year to support the ongoing work of Catholic Charities! All proceeds benefit the clients served by Catholic Charities of Wilmington. Catholic Charities offers food assistance, housing stability, counseling, financial education and other essential services that provide a path toward self-sufficiency.
Participants can sign up as an individual or form a team and are asked to bring a non-perishable food donation to bolster the Catholic Charities Food Pantry. Registration cost includes complimentary snacks, water, pizza and beer for those 21+, face painting and games and giveaways for non-participant attendees are also available!
